HORAK 2nd Gen Meet - Feb 8, 2026

 

The meet was held at our Executive Member, Pravesh Chettri's Art Cafe with invited guest speakers Mr. Ehtesham Rahman, Founder of Grubb and Dr. Dawa Gyalpo Sherpa, Field Director GTA Tourism.

Mr. Chettri presented an initiative that he is part of regarding the management of Tetra Pack waste urging all HORAK members to participate. Mr. Rahman gave technical inputs on the discussion regarding digital promotion of 'Brand Kalimpong' & HORAK as a strong association. Dr. Sherpa provided insights into a Roadmap for the Future of Tourism in Kalimpong and the actions that HORAK can take. 

HORAK will be participating at the Flower Show at Mela Ground on Feb 14 and 15 with a stall with three objectives: Positioning Brand HORAK & Brand Kalimpong through the launch of two strategic campaigns:

No Honking Zone & Tetra Pack Waste-free Hills

Smaller teams were created to realise certain action points - HORAK's hoardings at Chitrey & Delo, Social Media & Kalimpong Itineraries
